Reserva de Búhos is a property located at kilometer 0.5 of the A353R road from Gilena to Pedrera (Seville). This space, known as La Huerta del Rubio, was abandoned for decades until we acquired and carefully restored it in 2016.

Our olive trees, of the Hojiblanca variety, offer us an oil of exceptional quality, with a unique flavor that reflects the richness of our land.

Thus was born the Reserva de Búhos brand, in honor of the birds that nest and reproduce in our trees each year. A small but special production, designed for the most discerning palates.

VTAR DON BENITO, tourist accommodation for rural lodging, located in the Owl Reserve of the well-known Huerta del Rubio, situated in the town of Gilena (Seville) and equidistant from Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Granada as shown in the location plan located in the Plans tab.

It is also very close to the Fuente de Piedra lagoon, just 20 km away, 40 km from Antequera and 20 km from Osuna. In all these towns you can find numerous tourist attractions such as the flamingo lagoon in Fuente de Piedra, the dolmens and the Torcal in Antequera, the Collegiate Church in Osuna, etc.

The town of Estepa, famous for its shortbread factories, is only 7 km away, and the village of Campillos is about 27 km away, where you can enjoy the famous Karting circuit.

The Caminito del Rey in the Malaga town of Ardales is located 53 km away.

You can find restaurants and shops in the towns of Gilena and Pedrera; there are even supermarkets open on holidays.

At VTAR there are rooms and bathrooms adapted for people with reduced mobility; we are currently working to eliminate barriers throughout the premises.

VTAR also offers internal and external surveillance services, although this service can be disconnected when the property is occupied if the client so wishes.

Gilena also offers certain attractions for hikers, as there are several routes in its mountain range, and it is possible to do this hiking on foot, by bicycle or on horseback.
